NOTE: On March 29 Dakota went to live with his forever home! Thanks so much for all your interest!
Dakota is my boy puppy that was born last July. He is 8 months old. My hope was to continue showing him to his championship and then use him for breeding. He is a beautiful red parti. His sire is my boy Harrison who is mostly red. Harrison has kept his beautiful red coat and I am quite certain Dakota will too!
Because of the current events, no one knows when dog shows will again be held. Coupled with that situation and the fact that Dakota shares the same dam (Maggie) that three of my girls do, I have decided to put him in a companion home.
It breaks my heart. Dakota is a loving, playful and very intelligent boy. He is current with all his vaccinations, is micro-chipped, has a flawless health history and is trained to use a pee pad. He walks beautifully on a leash, has been well socialized, enjoys showing (although that will probably not happen) and loves both people, children and other dogs.
Please contact me thru this website or at j7carney@gmail.com if you have any questions about Dakota.

How much are you asking for Dakota? We are looking for a havanese for my daughter. We have a Labrador and a maltipoo at home. All our dogs are female and were looking for a female havanese as we have found females to be better with potty training. However, your description said he was trained on a pee pad so we wanted to consider him. She would be taking him to her apartment and a pee pad would work well. Thank you for the info.

Hello Josie, thank you for your interest. Dakota is going to live with a family who were waiting for one of my little puppies.

Is there any chance Dakota needs a forever home? He would be loved and cared for like royalty.

Hello Trish, unfortunately Dakota has found his forever home. I am now taking reservations for my summer puppies. If that works, please fill out the questionnaire under the “Forms” section of this website. Thanks!
