On the Road
We left Michigan a week ago and what a week it’s been! Nursing one puppy who just didn’t seem to get to the nipple fast enough. (We have eight puppies and Lily has seven nipples). Caring for all the other dogs. Etc. Etc.
Then the trip: First was all the packing. Then the prep work on the motor home. Then the packing…for two adults and 15 dogs!
Then the unpacking four days later. Cleaning and dusting off the house. Setting up the porch/dog room with puppy pen, dog crates, etc.
We are exhausted to say the least. But all went well … better than we expected. So no complaints.
I modified my show trolley to transport Lily’s puppies safely to Florida in our motorhome.
First Days of Playtime

Our Eyes Are Beginning to Open!!
This is when the fun begins! The puppies are moving around a lot now and all but one have eyes at least partially open! They are also making fun coos and chirps…almost like little birds. Please click “MORE” to see photos of each pup at two weeks.
