Fern and Lily’s puppies are leaving in less than a week. I am so happy for them and the wonderful families that will love them. But I am sad because I will miss them. Here’s a video from today of them playing with the grownups!

Fern’s puppies are one week old and have nearly doubled their birth weights!
And I have given them names on a Motown Theme.
The boy is Marvin for Marvin Gaye.
The girls are named after the Supremes:
Diana Ross
Mary Wilson
and Florence Ballard.
We are a very musical family and this is my second litter that has had a musical theme. Two years ago we had the Blues litter.
So here are some recent photos of the pups with their new names!

This is when the fun begins! The puppies are moving around a lot now and all but one have eyes at least partially open! They are also making fun coos and chirps…almost like little birds. Please click “MORE” to see photos of each pup at two weeks.
