Tango with my wonderful handler Christy Collins.

Tango being goofy! It has been a while since we have had puppies. And, when it rains, it pours!!

In 10 days, Tango and Harley are due (December 15). Next Tuesday Tango will have an xray to determine how many pups she is carrying. She is getting quite plump!!

This is Meri. Our pretty girl is a Grand Champion. She turned 2 last August and this will be her first litter. That’s me on lead.

Fern and Opie are Parents!

Our beautiful Fern whelped 5 healthy, plump  babies October 14! All are gaining well (they actually started at a healthy 7 ounce average!) and actively moving around the whelping box. We have one girl and four boys. The girl is the white one below with the tan and white boy.

My thanks to my friend, Kathy Ambler, for letting Opie to sire such beautiful kids. I know they will be gorgeous!

Now We Have Names!

Maggie and Nelson’s puppies are growing so fast! And they LOVE to play!! Here are some individual photos with the names I’ve given them. For a lack of any other system I decided to name them after the color of their collars.

This is boy Rain, named for the pale blue collar he has. Rain was the firstborn and currently weighs 1#, 1oz.

This is girl Iris, named for her lavender collar. Iris was the second born and weighs 1#, 4oz.
