Artemis’s pups are 1 1/2 weeks old now. These photos were taken at 1 week. They are all so healthy and lively. Thank you Lord!

Anyway, here they are in birth order!

I am waiting on my grandchild Lulu to tell me what their names will be. Hint: Lulu has a sweet tooth!

Puppy 3 is a gold sable parti (more white than color). She is actually much more golden tan than the photo shows.

We Rang in the New Year with Puppies!!

Happy New Year everyone!

On Dec. 30…five days before we expected it…Artemis (CGC Amistosa and Carney’s Woodland Drama Queen) delivered 6 beautiful, healthy babies!!

We have four girls and two boys and all are nursing and gaining. I’ll post individual pix in a few days.

This is Artemis’s second litter. Both times Solo (CH Jangles The Force Awakens) was the sire. The first litter was awesome! I can’t wait to see how these pups develop!

The first four weeks of pregnancy are so important. The girls get regular exercise to keep their muscles strong and flexible, they get special pregnancy vitamins and they get a wholesome, well rounded kibble. Currently they are on Purina Pro Plan which has never let us down!

Sunshine’s sire is Rio. His registered name is Heartland’s Carnival. Rio has already produced many healthy pups, severalthat have become AKC champions.

This will be Sunshine’s second litter. Sunshine is a very sweet girl who loved the show ring. She is an AKC Grand Champion….all owner-handled by me!  She gets along well with my other dogs and is well-behaved on her walks! LOL

This will be Artemis’s first litter. She is also very sweet and enjoyed the show ring but loves playing with her roommates better! She was born in Canada and is an Canadian Grand Champion!!

Puppies are due the first week of May. Stay tuned to this channel for further updates!

Big win for Sunshine at the Havanese Regional Specialty!We bred two girls, Sunshine (GCH CH Kolmar’s New Day Rising in Carney’s Garden) and Artemis, (Amistosa’s & Carneys Woodland Drama Queen) in early March so these are exciting times.

Fozzie Is Retired! Now he is looking for a Forever Home

` Fozzie, my stud dog who produced four beautiful litters, is looking for his ‘retirement home’!

Fozzie is 4 1/2 years old. He is a chocolate with white markings on his beard, tail and back paws. He weighs about 13# and is extremely smart.

I am looking for a home where Fozzie can be the only dog. While he gets along well with his other 7 roomates at my house, he is a bit bossy when it comes to living with dogs he doesn’t know. That said, he is fine with dogs on his walks. He just doesn’t want them in his house (LOL)>

Speaking of walks, Fozzie LOVES his. He has a lot of energy. Would excell at something like agility or rally! Anything that will burn energy on a daily basis.

And, as is typical of Havanese, he is a lover boy. Does not like being alone for long periods of time. But will sit on your lap forever if allowed!

So I think a family with older kids, a couple that is retired (or works from home) or an individual that is home a lot, would work. A family that likes the outdoors, is active and goes places (with their dog)…hiking, soccer games, walks in the park, dog parks, etc.

Fozzie has no health issues. He is current with all vaccines, is microchipped and has been neutered. He is an AKC Grand Champion, which he accomplished before he was 18 months old!

I will definitely be prioritizing families iI am able to meet personally. He is currently wintering with us on the southwest coast of Florida.Not a bad place to visit this time of year.
