The puppies are 3 days old and gaining well. Their numbers are their birth order. Names to follow soon. We are calling them our Country Legends Litter.

 

Puppy #5, Hank (Williams),  is a boy. He is also a dark sable parti.

Puppy #1, AKA Patsy (Cline),  is a red sable girl.

Puppy #3, AKA Tammy (Wynette), is a girl. She was born very white but we are seeing some patches of cream working their way in.

Puppy #4, Jimmie (Rogers), is a dark sable with lots of white. Also called a sable parti.

Puppy #2, Johnny (Cash), is a dark sable pied which means he has more color than white. He is a boy.

This is Shades. He is a dark sable with some cream on his chest. A very mellow fellow!

This is Diver. He is black with a bit of white on his two front paws, more white on the back ones and a white goatee which you can barely see.

Fern’s puppies are growing like crazy! Their eyes are almost open. And they are moving around, making sweet puppy growls and tussling with each other. Here are their photos with their names…that my grandson suggested!

Here you can see one of Diver’s white back paws.

This is Sandy. He is lighter than it shows in the photo. He has white on his front paws and a white chest.

And this is Flip-Flop. The only girl and the biggest of the bunch though that is likely to change. You can see her pink nose is beginning to darken and her eyes are almost open.

I have bred Fern and Phantom and expect their puppies to whelp about May 25. Fern has bred many pretty dogs including my showgirl, Meri who, at 19 months, is close to getting her Grand Championship!

Phantom is already a Grand Champion and has 33 points towards his Bronze Championship. Fern is a feisty but loving girl who would like to be my only child!
