Havanese puppies – 10 days old

Here are some photos of our individual puppies. Their noses are mostly black now but their eyes are still closed. Next time I’ll use my camera. I’m not too happy with the quality of my phone photos.

Our Havanese Puppies are getting bigger

Maxi is giving baths. This also stimulates the puppys’ bowels.

Our Havanese puppies are one week old now and have almost doubled in size! I love their little pink paws and round bellies. Eyes are still closed…noses still pink. That will soon change!

Everyone is gaining nicely. They like to sleep in a clump!

Havanese Puppies Coming!

I bred my Havanese girl, Maxi, to my friend Denise’s boy, Dino. He is a wonderful little guy and I am sure they will have some beautiful Havanese puppies with very “bouncy” personalities. Maxi is a real snuggle bug and my kitchen shadow.  We will probably see mostly black and white puppies as both parents have what is called black parti coats.

This Havanese litter will be born in Florida, some time around New Year’s Day. The puppies will be ready for their forever homes in early March.

Here are some photos of the parents.
