Fern and Opie are Parents!

Our beautiful Fern whelped 5 healthy, plump  babies October 14! All are gaining well (they actually started at a healthy 7 ounce average!) and actively moving around the whelping box. We have one girl and four boys. The girl is the white one below with the tan and white boy.

My thanks to my friend, Kathy Ambler, for letting Opie to sire such beautiful kids. I know they will be gorgeous!

Boy Available

NEWS FLASH…Rain has a home!

Maggie’s puppies are 8 weeks old today and some are beginning to enter into their new stage in life…that of making families very happy and whole.

One of our buyers decided to wait a while before getting a puppy so we have a boy, Rain, available.  Rain is on the small side…will likely end up about 8-10 pounds. Because he is small I am hoping for a family of adults or a family with older children that can appreciate how important it is to be careful around small puppies. He is very sweet and confident. Plays well with the other dogs and greets strangers with his tail up! If you think you’d like to meet Rain, please fill out the questionnaire on this website. It’s on the “Forms” page.

First Meal with Kibble Mush

Maggie’s puppies had their first meal with kibble mush (dry dog food soaked in water and mushed up). They loved it!

Here they are being ever so polite at the table!

That’s Rain off to the right.

Pickles is at noon.

Bubbles is at 9.

Iris is at 7 o’clock.

Violet is at 6 o’clock.

And Sky is at 5 o’clock.

And we also moved to the “Big Puppy Pen” over the weekend so now they can see everyone else in the room. They are so happy with their dangling toys, litter box and freedom to roam around more.
