Mae Loves Life!

This is Mae!

Mae is 16 weeks old and would love a forever family!

She is one of the happiest puppies I’ve raised. She reminds me of Mae West…hence her name!

Mae is very smart. She loves to play fetch and get her belly rubbed.

She is great with children, other dogs and cats. At 3 weeks Mae used her water bowl as a swimming pool. This got a bit messy so we switched to water bottles and I bought her a kiddie pool! (See video below)

She would make a great pet for an active family.

She is doing well with potty training. Pees and poos outside or on a pad if she is indoors.

She has had 3 of her 4 DHPP vaccines and her bordatella vaccine.

She is AKC registered to parents who have passed all the health testing

requirements and are AKC Champions.

Below is Mae in her kiddie pool. She started swimming in her water bowl at 3 weeks so I got her a water bottle and a pool. She LOVES it!

Getting to Know Others!

To be well adjusted, puppies need socializing! So I am always grateful when a family comes to visit us. Recently a Mom, Dad and three daughters (oldest just entering high school) came to visit. Here are some pix of our wonderful visit.

One Week Old and Twice as Big!

The beginning of socialization! My daughter in law getting her first wiff of puppy breath and giving Sienna some loving!

Our puppies turned 1 (week) today! They are doing great…even the little one! Everyone has at least doubled their weight which is a good sign.

The first three weeks are always the clinchers. I

don’t want to let Sienna outside because we have tons of deer in our neighborhood. They are beautiful but also disease carriers. While the pups do benefit from Mom’s antibodies in the colostrum and in her milk, I am nervous.

Here are some recent photos!

Grandson Ben loves to hold puppies! This is the same young man featured on the “cover” of this website….10 years ago! He is holding our littlest one, Luxio.

They try to sleep in clumps!

You can’t see them all, but the other 5 are nestled under the whelping pen’s pig rail. A pig rail prevents mom from accidentally crushing one of her babies.

Sienna getting some quality on my bed with Luxio. My way of making sure this pup gets all the milk he needs. Special times.

Sienna, me and Luxio. (I am terrible at selfies!)

New pix and a Video!

Ben loves to play with our puppies! So great for them all!

These kids mastered the balance board in two days! Now they line up for their turn!

And sorry about the background conversation! Jen was helping me put together the puppy’s new play set.

Note the new pen and the addition of litter boxes. It will take a couple days but they will start using them almost immediately!

One of their fav toys is my empty Metamucil bottle! LOL

A Lot Has Happened!

It has been over two weeks. A few things took precedence…including a 3 day stay in the hospital for me!! I am fine and happy to be on the bright side of this earth. And I am so thankful for my family for taking such good care of the babies!!

Here are a couple videos for starters. The first one is one of their first meals of kibble mush.

And this one is the puppies playing with Fozzie Bear, my 3 month old. He is sooooooo happy to have friends who will actually romp with him!

And now for a Puppy Culture session with Chewy.com packaging!
