Tinkerbell and Tiana from our Disney Litters

I am going to try and do some focus photos and two videos of two puppies at a time. A different post for the next four days. We’ll see how it goes. Starting with Tinkerbell and Tiana, both Tango/Woody puppies. Both girls.

Tiana….see her white tail tip?

Tinkerbell….more white around her nose.

Tiana is a little darker and has the tiny white tip on her tail. Enjoy!

Puppies Are Five Weeks Old and Loving their new digs!

My apologies for not posting sooner but I have been a busy mom!

Tango and Luna’s puppies are all together now. From the video you can see that they have a large 3’X3′ bedroom (the large black wire enclosure) and a much larger play area. We have a puppy crate with the door propped open so they can get accustomed to it. It is amazing how often they go in and out!

They also have three litter boxes which they started using last weekend and today only had two ‘accidents’. TWO! I can’t tell you how much that reduces my workload! The ‘litter’ is actually compressed pine pellets which turn to sawdust as they get wet. Makes for (relatively) easy cleanup.

I introduce different toys every day. Today there is a kitty toy with three balls that go round and round the 3 level track. They love it!

They are chewing like crazy since their little teeth are coming in. So they have a bunch of nylabones. I never give rawhide to my dogs.

I introduced them to kibble mush about 5 days ago and they have taken to it like it is candy.

Today is probably one of the last days they will nurse. Once they start to get teeth the moms lose their interest in nursing.

Anyway, enjoy the videos.

Some Individual Photos of our Country Legends.

The puppies are 3 days old and gaining well. Their numbers are their birth order. Names to follow soon. We are calling them our Country Legends Litter.

Puppy #5, Hank (Williams),  is a boy. He is also a dark sable parti.

Puppy #1, AKA Patsy (Cline),  is a red sable girl.

Puppy #3, AKA Tammy (Wynette), is a girl. She was born very white but we are seeing some patches of cream working their way in.

Puppy #4, Jimmie (Rogers), is a dark sable with lots of white. Also called a sable parti.

Puppy #2, Johnny (Cash), is a dark sable pied which means he has more color than white. He is a boy.

Tango and Tiger’s Puppies Have Arrived!

Tango whelped 5 beautiful puppies last night. We have 2 girls and 3 boys. My boy Tiger, now loved and owned  by my friend Pat Crane, is the sire. All are doing well and, as you can see, Tango is a very proud Mama!!

The cream (6 o’clock) and the red sable (1 o’clock) are the girls. The three sable/white pups are boys.

This is Tiger the day he got his Championship with his handler, Darius McPhall. He comes from a long line of champions on both his sire’s and his dam’s sides.

This is Tango with her handler, Christy Collins, the day she won her championship. Tango went on to win her Grand Championship just 6 weeks later!
