Mouthing Phase is Normal and Important!
At 3 weeks puppies will start exploring their environment and their littermates by “mouthing”.
This is not to be confused with a 10 week old puppy’s mouthing which can be a bit painful!
I find it endearing…one of the first signs of interaction with others around them.
Sunshine…our over achiever!
Sunshine is a true milk machine. Here she is nursing all 9 puppies. But she only has 8 nipples so there is a lot of musical boobies happening!

Our puppies are getting so big! Sunshine’s pups eyes are open! It won’t be long before Artemis’s are as well. Ben chose a “garden” theme for Sunshine’s pups. I think he picked some pretty cool ones!!
